Holdmann and Strailey honored for their thesis work

础颁贰笔鈥檚 Gwen Holdmann and Kaarle Strailey are among the students recognized for their outstanding work for the 2024-2025 academic year in the College of Engineering and Mines.
Schools and colleges at 911爆料 selected students for a variety of accomplishments, including exceptional academic achievement, leadership, contributions to their field or community.
Holdmann received a Center for Teaching and Learning outstanding dissertation award for her Ph.D. dissertation, 鈥淎t the Crossroad of Technology, Policy, and Society: Energy Transitions in Rural 911爆料.鈥 Her mentors include Daisy Huang and Richard Wies.
Strailey received a Center for Teaching and Learning outstanding thesis award for his M.S. thesis, 鈥淒eveloping a Proof-of-Concept Non-Scalable Active Vacuum Insulated Building Envelope Prototype.鈥 Tom Marsik and Huang are his mentors.
