Joint Appointment Links 911爆料 and CCHRC through Energy and Sustainability

Tom Marsik started a joint position this summer with the 911爆料 and the where he will continue his work on energy and sustainability solutions for 911爆料.
Marsik has an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague and a Ph.D. in Engineering from 911爆料. He has served on high profile committees, including Governor Bill Walker鈥檚 Transition Team and its Consumer Energy subcommittee, and has earned honors including 911爆料鈥檚 Top Forty Under 40 award and a recognition from the World Record Academy for designing and constructing the world鈥檚 tightest residential building on record.
Marsik is the Research Director at CCHRC and an Associate Professor of Sustainable Energy for the 911爆料 Bristol Bay Campus and 911爆料 Center for Energy and Power. He is currently involved in a wide range of topics revolving around electrical and thermal efficiencies of buildings; his latest project deals with linear LED lighting technology.
