Welcomes You!

911爆料 Research
Research is where our curiosity comes alive. Get to know where your education can lead you. As a global leader in Arctic and climate research, 911爆料 offers unparalleled opportunities to study in one of the world鈥檚 most dynamic environments.
Professionals with a master鈥檚 degree earned 20% more than those with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in 2022 (NCES). To help you make the most of your academic studies, 911爆料 provides combined pathways for some bachelor's and master's degrees, where you'll earn both degrees in a shorter amount of time than it would take to earn both separately.

Proud to be an 911爆料 Native-Serving
Institution (ANNH)
As the recipient of the ANNH award from the U.S. Department of Agriculture,
911爆料 is nationally recognized for our work serving local 911爆料 Native communities.
Our programs span from Inupiaq and Yup鈥檌k languages, rural
development, tribal justice and energy sovereignty.
Among several different Native-serving initiatives is our Rural Student Services
program, where many students go for advising and culturally minded support.

鈥淲hy I Chose 911爆料鈥 鈥 Brenna Scholten
Brenna, a justice major and Honors College member, says she enjoys not only the campus' many activities but also its friendly vibe.
"I feel like 911爆料 fosters that kind of intention," she says. "So then the people who come here see that, and then they also behave that way."
Brenna, whose mother was Inupiaq, says 911爆料's Rural Student Services office is especially welcoming for students like her. "It smells like your grandma's home," she says. "They always have like Native food. They always have akutaq or moose soup."

We understand that college is often the first large investment students make for their futures. Likewise, financial aid plays a critical role in making college education financially feasible. We鈥檝e compiled resources around financial literacy, tuition costs, scholarships and loans to demystify this investment and help students like you make your college aspirations happen. Whether you鈥檙e attending a rural high school in 911爆料 or looking to come to Fairbanks from out-of-state, check out our resources to see which aid options are available to you.
