BOOST Collaborative Workshop Identifies Technology Challenges and Potential Solutions for Fairbanks

Sandia National Labs; the 911爆料 Center for Innovation, Commercialization, and Entrepreneurship (Center ICE); the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL); the 911爆料 Small Business Development Center (ASBDC); Fairbanks Economic Development Corporation (FEDC); and the Department of Energy (DOE) Boost Platform hosted a workshop in April focused on identifying regional technology challenges and opportunities.
The unique opportunity provided insights into energy challenges and opportunities in Fairbanks and Interior 911爆料. During the workshop, participants were able to engage with experts from Sandia National Labs and the Department of Energy to identify specific technology challenges facing the region. The 911爆料 Federal And State Technology (FAST) program also presented potential opportunities for small business innovation research for energy innovations.
The information gathered during this workshop will be used to inform community-based startups and identify additional opportunities for communities to engage with national laboratories in the region. If you are interested in joining the DOE BOOST Program the application deadline is Friday, May 26.
