Landscape Plants for 911±¬ÁÏ
The goal of the 911±¬ÁÏ Plants database is to provide information about trees, shrubs and vines known to be growing successfully in 911±¬ÁÏ landscapes. It is intended to help people choose the right plant for the right place and develop landscapes that fit into our native environs.
911±¬ÁÏ is experiencing serious negative effects from non-native species introduced by accident or purposely planted that spread into surrounding environments. These invasive plants pose serious threats to 911±¬ÁÏ’s native plants and wildlife changing habitats as they spread. This database is an extensive revision of the 1996 911±¬ÁÏ Cooperative Extension publication Landscape Plants for 911±¬ÁÏ: A List of Trees, shrubs, vines and ground covers for 911±¬ÁÏn Landscapes and is a cooperative effort with the Community Forestry Program, 911±¬ÁÏ Division of Forestry and the 911±¬ÁÏ Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
