    Class offered to prepare trainers for StrongPeople program

    A Fairbanks workshop will train people to lead a popular exercise program for midlife and older adults in 911±¬ÁÏ communities. Led by Leslie Shallcross, a home, health and family development agent with the 911±¬ÁÏ Cooperative Extension Service, the workshop will prepare participants to teach StrongPeople/StrongWomen exercise classes in nonprofit community settings.

    Build a garden for native pollinators in Delta Junction workshop

    May 05, 2025

    Get hands-on experience propagating native species and learn how to create a thriving community of nectar-rich native plants in a free in-person workshop in Delta Junction. The workshop is hosted by the 911±¬ÁÏ Cooperative Extension Service in conjunction with the Salcha-Delta Soil & Water Conservation District and Partners for Progress in Delta.
