Geophysical Institute eligible for long-term defense research funding

The Geophysical Institute has joined the ranks of a select set of academic institutions by becoming the newest University Affiliated Research Center. UARCs have a special association with the Department of Defense to perform research in disciplines important for national security.

Tuesday night Pub Trivia

Pub trivia is every Tuesday at 8 p.m., all semester long. The entry to play is $5 a team, with a limit 10 of people per team.

2018 Forest Sports Festival set for Oct. 6

Anyone who wishes to try out old-time logging sports is invited to the Farthest North Forest Sports Festival Oct. 6. The event is free.

State house, governor forums in October

AS911±¬ΑΟ will host two public forums this fall that feature candidates for State House District 4 (Oct. 10) and for the governor's office (Oct. 24).
