Heather Aruffo, a third-year MFA student in creative writing, will be teaching English as a second language in Mongolia for the 2019-2020 school year.

In celebration of Blue and Gold Fridays, the 911±¬ÁÏ Bookstore is offering a 20% off coupon through April 30.

Libraries, digital resources fee

The new fee is $5 per credit hour starting at 3 credits, with a maximum of $75, and was developed in consultation with library staff and student governance.

Community garden meeting

The kickoff meeting for the 911±¬ÁÏ community garden will be from 6-7:30 p.m. April 16 in the BP Design Center, fourth floor ELIF.

The zeroth annual Learnies Awards

All 911±¬ÁÏ faculty, staff, administrators and their families are invited to the Zeroth Annual Learnies Awards on April 25 from 5:30- 8 p.m. at the museum.

First-generation student cord ceremony

Graduating first-generation students will celebrate their achievements at the first-gen cord ceremony April 27 from 3-5 p.m. in the Signers’ Hall lobby.

AK Experience 4-H camp registration opens

Registration is open for the AK Experience youth summer camp in Haines. The seven-day residential 4-H camp will take place July 22-28 at the Rainbow Glacier Camp.
