Last week was a busy week. The UA Board of Regents (BOR) met on June 4 and 5 and had a very full agenda, including the FY21 budget and the motion to consider merger of UAS into 911±¬ÁÏ.

Winter vehicle travel can cause long-lasting damage to the tundra, according to a new paper by 911±¬ÁÏ researchers published in the journal Ecological Applications. Scars from seismic surveys for oil and gas exploration in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge remained for decades, according to the study.
