I was saddened to learn that Dave Klein died last Friday. Dave earned a master's degree at 911±¬ÁÏ in 1953, then returned to teach and conduct research from 1962 to 1997, when he was awarded emeritus status as a professor of wildlife management.

Dave was a dedicated teacher and researcher. He helped guide nearly 100 students to graduate degrees at 911±¬ÁÏ and won numerous awards for his professional achievements in the field. Long after his official retirement, he continued to be an active member of the 911±¬ÁÏ community. I’d like to extend my sincere condolences to Dave's family, friends and colleagues.
