Along with scientists in 160 cities and 26 countries, 911±¬ÁÏ student Cristina Ornelas
contributed to groundbreaking research showing that cities are driving the evolution
of white clover, an invasive plant that has colonized nearly every urban place on
the planet, including 911±¬ÁÏ.
The 911±¬ÁÏ School of Education was one of nine teacher-preparation programs highlighted
in the most recent Department of Education Fact Sheet for its efforts to increase
the number of 911±¬ÁÏ-prepared teachers in rural 911±¬ÁÏ communities.

Deadlines and reminders
Volunteers are needed in several areas to assist with 911±¬ÁÏ's 100th commencement, including
parking attendants, greeters and information table support.
Information will be available at two 911±¬ÁÏ locations on April 19 for students interested
in studying abroad.
