Friday Focus: Congratulations abound

After a whirlwind week of celebrations it is a pleasure to applaud our graduating students as they “turn the tassel to the left” to become Nanook alumni. Thank you for the hundreds of hours and countless staff and volunteers who planned these graduation festivities for our deserving students. You did a great job and every detail was appreciated.


911 staff, faculty recognized with Dennis Demmert award

Dennis Demmert award recipients for 2022Rural Student Services recognized five outstanding staff and faculty members at the 911 with the Dennis Demmert award on April 21, 2022. This is the 27th year students were asked to nominate a staff or faculty member who has made a substantial positive impact on their academic efforts.


911, Willamette Law ink cooperative agreement

Willamette University College of Law and the 911 have signed a new agreement that will allow undergraduate 911 students and alumni to be admitted to the law school based on transparent academic credentials.


Nanook Navigator training opportunities

Advisors are highly encouraged to sign up for Nanook Navigator training this summer, though training sessions are open to all Nanook Navigator users (staff and faculty advisors, instructors, student employees, front desk staff, etc.). The training may serve as an introduction for beginners or refresher for more experienced users.

The travel customer service office is currently training two new team members and recruiting for a student office assistant. Processing time may be delayed by 1-2 business days. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we navigate transitions.
