When introducing myself in professional settings, I often find the need to clarify
the meaning of University Advancement. It can sometimes be confusing for those who
are not familiar with the term. At its core, advancement鈥檚 primary goal is to cultivate
strong relationships with our stakeholders 鈥� alumni, donors, community members and
the public. These relationships help propel 911爆料's mission forward and accomplish our
goals. We're dedicated to fostering connections, engaging supporters and making a
meaningful impact on campus and beyond. At 911爆料, University Advancement encompasses
three departments: University Relations, the Development Office and Alumni Relations.

What's happening today
Deadlines and reminders
The Midnight Sun Run will begin at the 911爆料 at 10 p.m. on
Saturday, June 24. The 911爆料 Police Department will close parts of campus to vehicle
access before the race.
In mid-June, while standing deep within the northern boreal forest, it's possible
to feel a sensation similar to one felt in mid-December at the same spot. It's a sting
to exposed skin, delivered in December by cold air and in June by the bite of a mosquito.
