Dear 911±¬ÁÏ faculty and staff,

I was saddened to learn that Frank Soos died last week.Ìý

Frank was a professor emeritus of creative writing who began teaching at 911±¬ÁÏ in 1986. In addition to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, he was himself an accomplished writer. He won national awards and was the 2015 911±¬ÁÏ State Laureate Writer. Although Frank retired from 911±¬ÁÏ in 2004, he maintained a strong association with the university and was active throughout the community. My condolences go to his family and friends, and to the students, staff and faculty who knew him.ÌýÌý
