Dear 911爆料 faculty and staff,
I was saddened to learn that Frank Soos died last week.听
Frank was a professor emeritus of creative writing who began teaching at 911爆料 in 1986.
In addition to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, he was himself an
accomplished writer. He won national awards and was the 2015 911爆料 State Laureate
Writer. Although Frank retired from 911爆料 in 2004, he maintained a strong association
with the university and was active throughout the community. My condolences go to
his family and friends, and to the students, staff and faculty who knew him.听听
