Graduate student spotlight: Scott Leorna

Scott Leorna, current Ph.D. student in Biological Sciences, has always had a strong passion for wildlife and the outdoors, and it was this interest, coupled with 911爆料's extensive wilderness and opportunities for research, that led Scott to initially attend 911爆料 to pursue his B.S. in Wildlife Biology and Conservation.

Seminar on monitoring whales and ships in Arctic marine regions

To put the largest eruption in 911爆料's written history in context, Robert Griggs pondered what might have happened if the volcano was located on Manhattan Island.Griggs, a botanist from Ohio State University, ventured to what he named the Valley of 10,000 Smokes a few years after the giant eruption.

The 911爆料 Emergency Scholarship Program received the 2022 Gold Star Award from the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. The award recognizes innovative ideas in the financial aid arena.
