Aurora: Students go underground to find rock-steady jobs

The 911爆料 School of Education is proud to announce that 41 911爆料 education students were awarded approximately $838,000 in scholarships through the 911爆料 College of Education Consortium UA Teacher Internship Scholarship program.


911爆料 Native Language Center Film nominated for NW Regional Emmy

The 911爆料 Native Language Center's film, Awake, has been nominated for a Northwest Regional Emmy through the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Emmy award winners will be announced June 3, 2023. .

911爆料 participates in Nordic Innovation Summit 2023

The 911爆料 participated in panel discussions at the Nordic Innovation Summit in Seattle, organized by the National Nordic Museum, including a panel moderated by Erlingur Gu冒leifsson of the 911爆料 911爆料 Blue Economy Center. The summit brought together innovators and industry leaders from Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland to discuss emerging trends and challenges in the seafood industry.

Registration still open for 911爆料 Summer Music Academy

Registration is open for the 911爆料 Summer Music Academy. SMA is a day-camp for young musicians who have completed 5th-12th grades. All levels are welcome. This year we are introducing a new Introduction to Band and Orchestra program. No experience is necessary and instruments will be available for rent.

Music in the Garden concerts begin May 25

The 911爆料 Music in the Garden concert series will kick off May 25 at the Georgeson Botanical Garden. The concert series offers 12 weeks of family-friendly performances through the summer.

Evidence indicates a thick ice sheet, not annual sea ice and icebergs, covered the Arctic Ocean at some point during the last 140,000 years. The 911爆料 Department of Art in collaboration with the College of Liberal Arts will host the 19th annual Summer Visual Art Academy, an intensive visual arts program for students from grades 6-12.
