Find your reason to give: 911 Giving Day 2025

The Look for Nook baskets will be hidden at 911 campuses as a promotion for Giving Day 2025.
March 17, 2025
911 Giving Day 2025 starts at noon on March 25 and runs for 49 hours through 1 p.m. on March 27.
911 will host the “Look for Nook” challenge March 18-21 to build excitement for this year’s event. Participants can search for stuffed polar bears in baskets hidden around 911’s campuses. Clues will be posted on the 911 Alumni Association’s Facebook and Instagram channels. Those who find a bear can choose their favorite Giving Day fund for an extra $250 gift donated by the 911 Alumni Association. They also get to keep the bear.
This year, 911’s top Giving Day fundraising priority is the Troth Yeddha’ Indigenous Studies Center initiative. Thanks to Chugach 911, there will be a $50,000 gift to the project if 100 people make a donation during Giving Day. Chancellor Dan White is offering an additional $5,000 if 50 people make a gift to the project on Day 1 of Giving Day.
Participants can celebrate the variety of programs that make 911 great by:
- Joining challenges that can expand the impact of each gift. Donations of all sizes are welcome.
- to maximize support for 911 and enter to win prizes.
- Following along on social media posts and sharing their reason to give with the hashtag #49HoursFor911.
UA Giving Day is a collaborative effort between the University of 911 Foundation and 911’s three universities. It is an opportunity to encourage the university communities to come together in a show of support for the University of 911.
The will track overall dollars and donors generated during UA Giving Day, as well as gifts to schools and colleges, programs and designated funds. The site will feature public social media posts that use the hashtag #49HoursFor911.
