Alyssa Quintyne shares her experience as a Black organizer in 911 and about the barriers for Black people in leadership and organizing spaces. Hear ideas on how to help lift those barriers to support Black leaders in your communities.
Alyssa Quintyne is a Bajan-American organizer, creative, and musician in Fairbanks. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and violin performance at 911 and now works with statewide and local organizations on community advocacy and civic engagement.
