911 to host auditions for ‘Something in the Living Room’

The 911 Department of Theatre and Film is hosting auditions for the upcoming play, “Something in the Living Room.”

The auditions will take place in the Salisbury Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to noon, with 1-3:30 p.m. readings for those called back. 

In this multimedia production, written and directed by 911 assistant professor Kavelina Torres, everything goes wrong for a would-be assassin. 

People ages 18-85 years and of all ethnicities and gender identities are encouraged to audition. People of all genders may audition for all roles. Two roles call specifically for Indigenous North American or 911 Native actors.
