Parent and Family Orientation

Aug. 21-22 | Thursday–Friday

Parent and Family Orientation provides you with the skills and resources you need to support your student in their transition to college life at 911±¬ÁÏ. During our two-day program, you'll meet the faculty and staff who will support and educate your student inside and outside of the classroom, and have a chance take care of any outstanding business with the university.

Fees: Attending Parent and Family Orientation costs $30 for the first guest and $15 for each additional guest. This fee covers the cost of meals and materials distributed during Parent and Family Orientation.

Stay Connected With Residence Life

911±¬ÁÏ is invested in your success as a student. Experience and research conclusively shows that living on campus — especially during your first year in college — leads to academic success and greater connection to the campus community.

All incoming first-year undergraduate students attending the Troth Yeddha' Campus in Fairbanks who are enrolled in 9 credits or more, and under the age of 21, are required to live on campus. Exceptions are approved in some circumstances.

Immunizations

All newly admitted students living in campus housing must provide proof of the following immunizations, which can be uploaded to the Student Health and Counseling Center patient portal.

  • Meningococcal (MCV4) - administered after the age of 16
  • Tetanus (Tdap, TD) - administered in the last 10 years
