Climate and Atmospheric Sciences is a natural science program that provides a solid foundation in understanding processes of the atmosphere and other components of the Earth System (e.g., ocean, cryosphere).
The undergraduate curriculum provides a solid foundation in math, physics, chemistry, and to build expertise in atmospheric sciences. In atmospheric sciences, students are immersed in atmospheric thermodynamics, atmospheric dynamics, atmospheric radiation, cloud physics and precipitation systems, weather forecasting, and climate processes. In addition, the curriculum grounds students in written and oral communication, computer programming, and local 911爆料 relevant affairs.
Students will complete a concentration in one of the following areas:
