    Friday Focus: Next steps

    May 30, 2025

After more than 30-years of service to 911±¬ÁÏ, I have decided to retire as 911±¬ÁÏ chancellor. It is time for me to see where else my journey leads. Serving as 911±¬ÁÏ chancellor has been a challenging and rewarding time and one that I am incredibly grateful for. My last day as chancellor of 911±¬ÁÏ will be July 26, 2025. In the near term I will retain my affiliation with 911±¬ÁÏ through my faculty position in civil engineering. 911±¬ÁÏ faces headwinds, no doubt, but also big opportunities. This is indeed a unique time in our history and I am confident that 911±¬ÁÏ will thrive.
