Workshop series: Parenting unfiltered

The poinsettia: taking cues from daylight

For those with holiday lights hung all year and trees still decorated, perhaps pots of poinsettias, with their red, pink or white bracts, still liven up the house. These bracts (the modified leaves often mistaken for flowers) turn vibrant colors -- traditionally a bright red -- in midwinter, making an excellent example of the importance of photoperiods.

Emergency alert test scheduled Thursday

New Remote Work Agreement form released

A new Remote Work Agreement form that aligns with the Regulation changes is now available. All employees with a previous remote work agreement on file must complete the new form by Jan. 31, 2025. In early January, UA HR will contact employees via email who currently have a remote work agreement on file and need to complete the new form.
